Refund and Cancellation Policy

Halwani (www.halwani.shop), an initiative of Chips Park, is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. Given that our products are perishable food items (Kozhikode halwa and related sweets), our policies reflect the nature of these goods. Please review the following carefully.


1. Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled only if the request is received before the order is dispatched or prepared for shipping.
Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to info@halwani.shop or through the contact form on our website, clearly stating the order number.
Once an order enters the preparation or dispatch stage (typically within a few hours of placement, depending on order volume and timing), cancellation is not possible.
For time-sensitive or scheduled deliveries (e.g., same-day or next-day), cancellations may not be accepted after the preparation cutoff time, which will be communicated during order confirmation.

2. Refund Policy

Refunds are processed only in cases of order cancellation (as per section 1), non-delivery due to our error, or proven quality issues reported immediately upon receipt.
No refunds or returns are accepted for change of mind, customer preference, or after successful delivery, as halwa and similar products are perishable and cannot be resold.
In the event of a valid claim (e.g., wrong item delivered, significant quality defect, or non-delivery attributable to us):
Report the issue within 24 hours of delivery, with photographic evidence and order details sent to info@halwani.shop.
We will investigate promptly and, if the claim is upheld, offer a full or partial refund (at our discretion) or replacement where feasible.

Refunds, when approved, will be credited to the original payment method within 7–15 working days, depending on the payment gateway and bank processing times. Partial deductions may apply for transaction charges or processing fees where applicable.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Orders delivered successfully but not consumed or stored properly by the customer.
Damage or spoilage caused after delivery (e.g., due to improper handling, heat exposure, or delayed receipt).
Orders cancelled after dispatch or preparation.
Promotional or discounted items (unless explicitly stated otherwise).

4. Delivery and Quality Assurance
We take utmost care in packaging and use temperature-controlled shipping where required. However, we are not liable for delays or quality degradation caused by courier services, extreme weather, or recipient unavailability.
